Subject: Dictionary of Computing (Verbs & Nouns module)

'Dictionary of Computing 1.1' is a dictionary module for use with the
'Verbs & Nouns' and 'V&N Lookup' programs. You can download the latest
versions of 'Verbs & Nouns' and 'V&N Lookup' from the Info-Mac mirror
sites. They are located in the directory: info-mac/edu/lang.

The source for this dictionary comes from the 'Free On-line Dictionary of
Computing' by Denis Howe <http://www.foldoc.org/> and has been converted to
the format suitable for use with 'Verbs & Nouns' . FOLDOC is a searchable
dictionary of acronyms, jargon,  programming languages, tools,
architecture, operating systems,  networking, theory, conventions,
standards, mathematics,  telecoms, electronics, institutions, companies,
projects,  products, history, in fact anything to do with computing. This
dictionary is Copyright 1993 by Denis Howe.

The dictionary module itself is free, to use it you need the shareware
program 'Verbs & Nouns' (or 'V&N Lookup').
