Abstract of INFO-MAC archived encoded Mac binary file 'gui/copypaste-x-26b6-jp.hqx' Uploaded 07/14/2005 3361818 bytes From: ChrisLi@Bridge1.com Subject: CopyPaste-X 2.6b6J - Japanese Version This is the Japanese version of the CopyPaste-X package. Every so often a piece of shareware comes along that makes us wonder how we lived without it-such is CopyPaste-X, the turbo Clipboard utility on steroids. It now contains yType which helps anyone to type faster and more accurately. CopyPaste-X augments the good old Mac OS Clipboard in all kinds of ways: It lets you record and remember Clipboard items, edit Clipboard contents, save copied text (and picture) to an archive, and the main attraction: use ten Clipboards simultaneously, typing Command-C and a number to differentiate between them. Handy floating palettes keep your clippings onscreen; you can minimize the palettes, or hide them entirely and access your boards via keystrokes, contextual menus, and the CopyPaste Dock icon. If you use the clipboard, you'll love CopyPaste. -- Niko Coucouvanis, MacAddict Magazine What's new in this version: * Tiger compatible. * Further cleanup of the AutoCorrectorData file and the Spellchecker. * This version takes care of several convenient functions that might be specially helpful for handicapped people and for owners of notebooks as well The floating windows for the Clip Recorder, the Clip Sets and the yType suggestions can be resized which will dynamically increase the font size. For those of us with bad sight this can be very useful. * The floating window for the yType suggestions can be moved to any screen location where it will stay permanently until you either close the window or you restart CopyPaste. There are still a few programs for which yType cannot properly detect the I-beam cursor which usually shows the location of writing. In these programs you might prefer a fixed screen location for your suggestions. * The usability of the suggestions menu has been improved by the possibility of using the keyboard for the navigation. When you see a suggestion simply hit control-arrow-down to locate the menu and navigate it by arrow keys. Spacebar or return-key will insert the selected suggestion. Those who have problems with the mouse or even have no mouse will profit of this function. * If you enter a word pair for automatic corrections, you can choose to replace the original word on closing the window. So entering a new correction is a simple process of selecting the wrong word, calling the "Add Auto Correction" command from the yType menu, do the correction and hit "Create". * By default yType makes no automatic corrections immediately after a mouse-click. This reduces confusion if you correct a word, but confuses if you simply continue writing at a different position You can turn this behavior off in the preferences. * By default yType only inserts the suggestion and leaves it up to you to add a space or punctuation. As in most cases you continue writing with a space, you can turn on adding the space automatically to each inserted suggestion.
