Abstract of INFO-MAC archived Text file 'gui/icon/iconmachine-32-jp-hqx' Uploaded 07/20/2005 1524413 bytes From: ChrisLi@Bridge1.com Subject: Icon Machine 3.2J - Japanese version This is the Japanese version of the Icon Machine package. Icon Machine is a native icon editor for Mac OS X, capable of editing in all color sizes and depths. You can draw the icons yourself using the built-in array of standard tools, or import images from an application such as Adobe Photoshop. Masks are easy - if you paste from an application like Adobe Photoshop, the mask is automatically imported as well. And while you're drawing, the image and mask are automatically kept in sync. Also included is an "Edit Icon" contextual menu plugin for quickly opening files into Icon Machine from the Finder. Version 3.2 adds some minor modernizations. It uses the Mac OS X font panel for the text tool, with all the fancy typography settings involved, plus Quartz text drawing. It's also Carbon Event driven, which basically means it uses less CPU time when it's idle. One bug that was fixes is saving to a file server - you no longer get a weird error code when you try to do that. This version also requires Mac OS X 10.2; if you're still using OS 9 or 10.1, you'll have to stick with version 3.1.
