Abstract of INFO-MAC archived encoded Mac binary file 'gui/x-menu-16.hqx' Uploaded 06/02/2005 161908 bytes From: eboehnisch@devon-technologies.com Subject: XMenu 1.6 This program brings back the Apple Menu to Mac OS X and includes also a complete application launcher. By adding one or more global menus to the right side of the menu bar you can easily access your preferred applications, folders (and subfolders), documents and files. Furthermore there's no explicit need for a configuration (e.g. creating lots of folders and aliases or adding items to user-defined setups) - just activate the menus you like. All menus and submenus update themselves automatically (unlimited number of hierarchives) just like the good old Apple Menu so it's not necessary to refresh them manually or after a certain time interval. In addition, XMenu optionally displays small or large icons (using unique or generic icons), sorts menus by kind (folders before or after files) and follows aliases and symbolic links. Finally, please note that contrary to many other solutions, this is neither a hack ("haxie") nor an unofficial menu extra. History: - Support for Mac OS X 10.4.x "Tiger" (menu items can again be inserted to the right of menu extras) - Menu bar is immediately updated after quitting XMenu License: Freeware Author: Christian Grunenberg, DEVONtechnologies System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3 or higher Info: http://www.devon-technologies.com/products/freeware/applications.php http://www.devon-technologies.com/files/screenshots/freeware/XMenu.png
