It floods your screen with red, green, blue, white and black; to make the culprit stuck pixel (or subpixel) show its ugly head. This is so you can show your Apple Dealer that there is a problem with your screen and that it needs to be replaced (I think you need five pixels to be stuck for the replacement, but don’t take that number to heart).
